Paid full price for a Highlander but received a RAV4. The agreed-upon price difference was not honored during the car exchange. QEEQ tried to communicate several times but to no avail.

Hertz's service attitude is great, and the process is very quick. You just need to return the keys when dropping off. Although the dashboard warning light came on while driving in Queenstown, Hertz staff replaced the car with a newer and better one immediately, which is commendable.

Renting a car in Christchurch is very easy. You need to have the original driver's license and an English translation, which must be government-certified. The Hertz translation provided by QEEQ is not legally valid and not recognized by the rental company.
