We originally booked the car for 7pm. Since our flight transfer went smoothly, we arrived three hours early. The gentleman at the car rental was very friendly, and the process was simple and quick.

Alamo should be a cost-effective car rental company. This time it seemed like there were more people in line at Alamo compared to other companies. It was supposed to be a Ford Explorer or similar vehicle, but we got a Ford Edge instead. Although it seemed a bit smaller, it was still fine. It was a new car and more than enough for two adults and a child. Picking up and returning the car was very convenient, right across from the Calgary airport terminal.

Alamo is on par with Enterprise, Hertz, and other companies with excellent service! The car was in good condition (new car), and the pick-up and return process was convenient.

Yes, the car offered was almost a brand new car with only around 300km.
