The rental company offers a 24-hour hotline with services like towing for 8 Swiss Francs per day. However, when I called, no one answered. This was the only number to call in case of issues. The Europcar front desk explained that this hotline is outsourced to another company, and they don't know why this happened.

The store did not provide any explanation about the vehicle. They just handed over the keys and let us go. There was a dispute about the fuel level upon return. The VW Polo kept showing a tire pressure issue, but there was no actual problem.

And I feel the only downside was waiting time was slightly longer but that's expected at most airports and having the counter in terminal is a luxury when compared to most places with shuttle service and its hassles with luggage.
