Not bad, the car condition is decent, but it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. However, considering they upgraded me to a bigger car, I'll forgive them :). Some areas in Phuket are under construction, and having a bigger car helped because it could have gotten stuck otherwise....

The counter is easy to find, and the service is top-notch.

The store at Phuket International Airport is easy to find, the rental company is reputable, and the car is in good condition.

There is a counter in the airport hall which is very convenient, and the procedures are quick. When returning the car, you can't enter through the exit door; the security personnel will guide you to a small pathway for the return process. During the vehicle inspection, all visible minor damages are noted, and during the return, the staff just does a quick check. I offered a tip when picking up the car, but the staff politely refused. Due to the narrow lanes in the parking lot and my lack of experience with right-hand driving, I requested the staff to move the car to a wider road, and they were very helpful. I initially booked a TOYOTA VIOS but later found out it had been upgraded to a Toyota Altis, which was fairly new though previously a bit damaged. We chose Toyota because it was pricier, but we had a lot of luggage. If the luggage amount is known, a smaller car like a Nissan could work. I was very satisfied with Thai Rent A Car, even booking another car with them in Chiang Mai during our Phuket trip. I will choose this company again on future trips to Thailand.

The staff's attitude was quite good, the pickup process was very smooth, and the car was pretty new. However, there was no gas station on the way back to the airport from Padang, and the rental booth staff didn't mention this. As a result, we spent nearly an hour searching for a gas station at 21:30 but couldn't find one. With a flight at midnight, we had to return to the airport by 22:30 and pay for an expensive tank of gas. It started perfectly but ended very disappointingly...
