The service from the car rental staff during pick-up was very poor.

Everything is good, except the store is not located inside the airport. It's about less than 1km away, and there is a shuttle bus for transfers. However, with dozens of car rental companies at the airport, it's quite surprising that a big company like Europcar does not have an airport branch. That said, the environment of the store outside the airport is much better.

Eurocar does not have a counter at Zakynthos Airport, but employee Sophie drove the car to the airport for our convenience. Her service attitude was extremely nice and she was very cute. She explained everything clearly. Thumbs up for her!!

The car was not the VW Polo that we booked but apparently in the same class (Suzuki Swift). The staff were helpful and courteous. The car was in shocking condition. We had booked an automatic but they showed reluctance to give us one and kept suggesting a manual. We think it was because of the poor condition of the automatic vehicle. Brakes were poor and the body condition terrible. The car was in shocking condition and had not been repaired after several collisions. Bits were barely hanging in place on front and rear. The website showed a pickup at airport but there was no Europcar presence at the airport. They had to come from the Port, so we had to ring them and then wait. Better information is needed.
