Mex charged us an additional $547 usd for insurance and rental. Absolutely brutal. Do not rent from this car company.

Waiting for a solution to paying both week and mex for the same rental.

Significant and aggressive 'upselling' from the local staff team. The lady said I could not take the car unless I increased my 3rd party liability insurance. We were asked to pay another £300, on an initial booking of £106! Only from speaking separately with Sixt did I get the truth. It took over 2 hours to resolve and get the car. We actually had 37,500 USD of 3rd party insurance, which is the legal minimum, so we ended up taking the car.

Tries to help resolve the issue, and followed up regularly. They were really good.

I was told that I needed to purchase additional third party liability insurance (Despite Qeeq including it on my voucher). They said only $750,000 was included, but I needed $3,000,000. When I was given a receipt, it only showed this as a car upgrade. I asked for a receipt, they said all I could be given was what I already had (with no mention of additional insurance). Cost was an additional $188CAD

Qeeq was really great with whatsapp messages and support, especially concerning the additional insurance that I was told I needed by Mex. They provided quick and helpful information.
