BE WARNED: This rental company WILL find a way to uncharge you at the counter for a seemingly inexpensive rental. I declined insurance coverage because BOTH my insurance company and the rental company confirmed that my coverage was adequate over the phone and upon arrival at the counter I was told that my 100,000/300,000 coverage was inadequate and they require 300,000/500,000. They required I pay an additional $40 for my three-day rental (essentially doubling the original price). It was going to be $45 on my credit card but they dropped it to $40 since I paid cash, which seems highly suspect to me. I called my insurance company from the counter and they were willing to raise my coverage limits for the month, which would have cost me about $6-$7 but the counter associate told me that they couldn't accept that change - even if my insurance carrier faxed proof of higher coverage directly to their office - because it has to be in effect for 30 days or else it won't be "in the system". Had we not been on a schedule, I would have cancelled the reservation and gone elsewhere, even if I had to pay more to a different company, just to avoid these scam artist.
This company offers very inexpensive bookings up front and then finds all sorts of ways to add charges if you are not careful (if you bring the car back with less gas, $25 fee PLUS $9 per gallon; if you don't purchase their toll pass transponder and go through tolls, they charge $25 PER TOLL you pass through). Spend the extra money to book with a reputable company who isn't going to try to rob you.

This was the WORST car rental I have ever experienced. There was no wiper fluid, the engine light would not go off, there was a terrible ticking sound from the steering column when you made turns, the air pressure light wouldn't go off, the car was dirty, the pick up experience was terrible, and the FORCED me to take the extra insurance, even though I already had insurance through state farm. NEVER AGAIN.

Felt like I was cheated with the insurance. Didn't see anywhere where I had to drive my insurance. First time in 25 years I had to and then told my coverage was not enough. Will not ever use you again.
To our surprise Rightcars did not accept our insurance coverage from Canada. we were requested proof of coverage from a US insurance company therefore we were obliged to pay an extra $204.00 US to keep us covered. We have been travelling for over 12 years and it is the first time we encounter this problem. Other rental companies accept that we are covered by an insurance company from Canada. Even though Our insurance company sent them proof of our coverage they did not accept. FIRST AND LAST TIME WE BOOK WITH RIGHTCARS.
Never picked up the car. The people at Right Cars couldn't tell us how to get to their location. They kept telling us we needed to find a bus stop number 7, but two differen't people didn't know where it was. No one who worked at the airport could tell us where bus stop 7 was. I had to call them 3 different times and still couldn't find the shuttle. We walked around for over a half an hour trying to find this bus stop that didn't exist.
