We were very pleased with the car and the rental price. One suggestion I would make would be to eliminate the charge for cleaning. When we got the car we were told there would be a 11 euro charge to clean the car but we would get this back if we cleaned the car ourselves. My husband hand washed the car plus we took it through a car wash and vacuumed the inside and wiped down all the surfaces. When we returned the car we were told it was not clean enough. We challenged this and after much discussion were credited our 11 euros. I think this is not a good process. I want to affirm that we were very happy with the car during our stay and the staff were very courteous and helpful.

Nissan Micra with 50.000 km of mileage didn’t manage to go up some hills of Acores islands (just on first gear). It’s better to take stronger engine.

Service was very good. Pleasant staff. The car wasn't in the greatest condition but the roads in the area are a bit rough too.

No issues at pickup nor drop-off, and they were always available if something came up.

I had a voucher that clearly stated: an automatic, compact car, like a Ford Focus, hybrid, and included SUPER CDW insurance. The staff insisted they didn’t have a hybrid car, and in addition, they gave me a smaller car. Later on, I discovered I had been given a car from the economy group. They also claimed I didn’t have SUPER CDW insurance, which I specifically booked in order to cancel the excess completely. The representative called the manager, who also insisted that this was what appeared in their system. He, too, insisted that they had no hybrid vehicles, and he also failed to inform me that I was being downgraded to a smaller car. Terrible service from an untrustworthy team.

The QEEQ team responded quickly to the email I sent and stated that they would investigate my claims regarding the rental station. They made sure to keep me updated throughout the process of handling and checking with the rental station, and they ensured I was compensated. An impressive and efficient response.

The service is fine. It is a shared service with Prime Rent a Car company.

The price is quite affordable. The service is also good. We visited 6 islands this time and rented four cars; this one was the most economical.

It was all very good except for the 10 euro paid on collection for cleaning. I don't remember there being any mention of it before. The overall price would still have been extremely good but little hidden charges are so annoying and disappointing. There was a large scratch under the front of the car. This was not marked on the existing damage sheet. However, it turned out they did have a record of the damage, so that was OK but a worry for a while.

The service was excellent, and the price was reasonable. The rental office is a few kilometers away from the airport. After calling them, they quickly came to pick us up. The staff on-site were very friendly. When returning the car, it was raining heavily. Despite the rain, they swiftly completed the inspection and took us to the airport. If I visit again, I will still rent from them.

1. Very professional – they checked the car carefully at pickup and return, got everything done efficiently with no pointless chit-chat. 2. Staff at the counter were quite friendly. Service speed was “typical European” (so, not exactly fast). The deposit was on the high side, and they did try to offer their own insurance, but it wasn’t pushy. After the 70% discount it didn’t seem expensive, but I’d already bought coverage on QEEQ. 3. They upgraded me to a hybrid Ford Puma, which was awesome. Drove around for three full days and only had to refuel once. The lane-keeping assist was a nice bonus. 4. From what I could tell as an experienced driver, the roads were in good condition, but they were quite narrow and there weren’t many people around, so having insurance is definitely important.
