Used to rent directly with them from bkk and chiangrai. Counter service for pick up were previously excellent but not this time. I was told Citibank card takes 5months to refund, wow 1st time I heard this. My 3 main issues are: A) Tires looked worn out. Grip wasn't good round the corners. B) Wheel alignment or balancing was a bit off. Steering tend to go right slightly. B) My passenger who is k. Thai called to inform we are reaching in 5min. We waited more than 20mins for a cocky chap who came to inspect the car. I have a problem when he spoke loudly and rudely. All in I'm in Thailand frequently for biz and visiting Luang Por. Sad to say most times when a k. Thai opens his or her mouth, you know what type of person they are.

貸し出しカウンターから車までがすごく近いです。カウンターはドンムアン空港国内線ターミナルの国際線側。連絡通路を抜けてすぐです。配車はカウンター近くの出口から出て、道を横断したところ。カートごとすぐそばまで行けます。返却場所も一緒。チェックもすぐ終わって、笑顔でOKで終了でした。スワンナプームと違って、ドンムアンにはガソリンスタンドが近くにあるので、最終給油場に惱まなくて済むのもいいですね。

I am really grateful to Thai Rent A Car. I rented the car from Bangkok Airport and returned it in Hua Hin. I was taking a flight from Hua Hin to Chiang Mai, but I miscalculated the time. The flight was scheduled for 12:20 PM, and by the time I returned the car, it was already 11:45 AM. I explained my situation to the staff at the Hua Hin office, and they immediately took me to the airport instead of checking the car's condition first. It was clear that they were also worried I might miss my flight, and they rushed me to the airport. In the end, I reached the airport at 12:05 PM, just in time. They later inspected the car, and I truly appreciate their handling of the situation and their quick response.

Overall service was average. Due to the language barrier, communication relied on images, basic gestures, and translation apps, which felt rather inefficient. At pickup, I showed them a picture of their store, but the staff just shook their head and ignored me. Did they not understand my intent? If that's the case, they could have asked me further or clarified if the store wasn’t theirs. Then I presented the rental voucher, and they immediately signaled to proceed with the process. I finally breathed a sigh of relief—found the right place! At vehicle return, the inspection went smoothly, but they informed us about a toll fee, which confused us. After questioning it, they pulled up a system image showing the incurred fee. We promptly showed our proof of toll payment, but they said something unclear and appeared to ignore us. Since we were running short on time for our flight, we used the translation app to stress the urgency and asked them to resolve the issue quickly. They only insisted we pay the fee. Having no choice due to time constraints, we paid and left.

The car had already been driven 180,000 kilometers and had impact damage on the front left side, with numerous scratches all over the vehicle—too many to count. During pickup, the car had so many marks, and the staff handing over the car rushed us to drive off. Honestly, it felt unsettling. Fortunately, during drop-off, they didn’t carry out a detailed inspection with a flashlight, and since we didn’t cause any scratches, the return went smoothly.
