Super happy with everything

Super quick and hassle-free.

Pick-up and return were both pretty smooth. No pushy upselling either—they just asked once if I wanted extra roadside assistance, I said no, and that was it. Super convenient overall. The car itself was big and roomy, really comfortable to ride in, and it was basically brand new with under 8,000 km on it, so big thumbs up! Only downside is the fuel consumption—just over 10L per 100 km, so not exactly economical.

Super legit rental company with zero hidden fees. I bought full coverage on QEEQ and there was absolutely no hard selling when picking up the car. When we returned it, they didn’t even fuss about inspecting the vehicle, and the lady there even drove us to the cable car station. The car was in great condition, really spacious, the trunk easily fit five 28-inch suitcases with room to spare, and the second row comfortably seated three adults. The windows were huge, almost like a panoramic view. Loved it—perfect car for our road trip across the North Island.

They upgraded my car for free because of the location, and I ended up driving a nearly brand‑new car with only about 1,000 km on it.

Pick-up and drop-off were super quick, didn’t waste any time at all.

Everything went really smoothly. The front desk lady was from Hong Kong and she was incredibly nice, spoke really clearly and calmly, and walked us through how to put on the snow chains in great detail. They even had an instructor help us get comfortable driving a right-hand drive car. Overall it was an awesome experience. The car was very new and clean, and the Mitsubishi was super fuel-efficient. Really impressed.

The staff were extremely polite and patient, clearly walking me through the whole rental and return process. Even though they’re not an international big-name brand, they’re actually quite a large operation in New Zealand and a company you can really trust.

We landed in Queenstown pretty late, around 9:30 pm, but everything was still super smooth. The car drove really well and both pickup and drop-off were very convenient. The rental counter is right by the airport exit, sharing the same area with Hertz. The lady who helped us was really nice, processed everything quickly, and even reminded us to bundle up because it was freezing outside.

They charged 80 NZD to rent snow chains, while other rental companies only asked around 25 NZD. When I brought it up afterwards, they just said I’d already agreed to the price so I had to accept it. It really doesn’t feel like a fair way to do business.

The whole process was really quick and hassle‑free.

Service was really thoughtful. I was on the last red-eye into Wellington and had to catch an early ferry to the South Island the next morning, but the pickup time was long past their office hours. The rental company left the keys and car at the Z supermarket next to the airport and arranged for the staff there to hand everything over so I could just grab the car and go in the middle of the night. QEEQ and the rental company even called the next day to confirm I’d picked up the car. Super responsible and I really appreciate it.

Absolutely delighted with the whole experience

Pretty good overall and pretty fast. One of the female staff was really friendly and helpful. The guy was Indian and a bit harder to understand. They told me if I paid an extra 48 yuan for their insurance I wouldn’t have to pay any excess, but I’d already bought the full domestic coverage QEEQ recommended, so I didn’t take it. Returning the car was smooth. I took photos and videos when picking up and dropping off the car, just in case.

Great experience overall – staff were friendly, easy to communicate with, and the return process was super smooth. I’d definitely rent from them again.
