The vehicle was in good condition, but it lacked the manual transmission I wanted. They also tried to upsell me on insurance I didn't need. When I declined, they increased my security deposit to €4,000. Additionally, they tried to charge me an extra fee for cleaning the car: €30 at pickup or €40 at drop-off.

The counter staff let us wait when we first arrived and took no notice of us until they were done with whatever else they were doing. On drop off they were barely communicative with no thank you all for renting from them.

Asked to wash and clean the car before returning otherwise I would need to pay 40€

I waited for an extremely long time at the counter till the car rental guy contacted EasyRentCars.com support and figured out the situation with mismatched car sizes

The car was excellent. My main issue is with the terms of Green Motion that insisted that I cover the deposit with a credit card, excluding Amex. A debit card was not accepted. It was lucky that my wife has a credit card.

on returning the car four staff members took 40 minutes discussing between themselves an apparent new scratch mark on one of the doors. Never in this period of time did anyone inform me what was going on until I prompted them that I had a flight to catch. they showed me a picture from their laptop of what the door supposedly looked like without the scratch before I rented the car. Only after I pointed out that the date of the picture taken was after the date I rented the car, and therefore could not have been a picture of the car I rented, did they agree to sign my car off as no damage found. I don't know whether this was a failed scam attempt or a genuine mistake but either way it was terrible customer service.

Green motion are scammers, dont ever rent a car with them. They will find some dirt ehich can be cleaned eith a finger, tell that this is a damage and charge you 500€
