Requested a Camry, however none were available. Was given a kia sportage with lots of body damage (dings, scrapes, and scuffs), the low tire pressure light was on the entire time and we had to add air, and the gas mileage was lower than what a camry would have been. Even though we had a voucher from online rental, the cost doubled when we picked up rental. Will not use Fox services again.

Took over an hour standing in line to get to agent, then 25 minutes with agent. Toyota or other full size I reserved not available so I was offered an SUV which I didn’t want. Had to find the Manager to finally get a Ford; this took 20 more minutes. On leaving the Las Vegas agency, check out person could not explain how to use speed control, head lights, adjust the mirrors, open gas door, etc; I had to pull to the side of the road and read the manual.

The counter service personnel was terrible at explaining the terms of the contract, specifically about the prepaid fuel and insurance. The prepaid fuel was emphasized that the car could be returned with any amount in the tank. The charge was described as a deposit, indicating to me the amount was a hold on the credit card, not a non-refundable amount. When I returned the car with 3/4 tank, it was pointed out the charge of $68.00+ was for a 1/4 tank of fuel. The check-in person reduced the charge to the half tank charge of $28, so better. The insurance was described as liability /damage insurance and was declined. Unfortunately, I managed to lock the key in the trunk. When I called, I was told I did not have roadside assistance as part of the rental as I did not purchase the insurance. The cost of $100.00 to have a tow truck come and assist was a surprise, but paid.

Like: Right from the time we entered the Fox office in Fort Lauderdale the staff made us feel good.
Dislike: There was no hassle. The agent took us right to our car and helped with our luggage.
