The process was quite smooth, no upselling. I purchased full insurance from the rental company, the type that doesn't require reimbursement back home. Planned to land at 6 pm and booked the car for 7 pm. The flight arrived earlier than expected, and I reached the counter 45 minutes ahead of time. I was told I had to wait or pay extra to switch to a BMW 3-series, but I declined. Spent the next 45 minutes playing cards at the airport. For future reference, you can schedule the car pickup for a later time, but it's not allowed for an earlier pickup.

The car model was significantly different from what was booked. I reserved a more expensive Renault Megane Estate but received a much cheaper Hyundai i30. Even though a Megane was parked nearby, they claimed it wasn't available. The delivery person incorrectly informed me it was a diesel car, but it was actually a three-cylinder petrol engine, which vibrates heavily. This misinformation almost caused me to refuel incorrectly. However, the car pickup and return process was very smooth and convenient, and on weekends, they opened 15 minutes early for pick-up.

Newish car - could have been cleaner. Service on pick up was fast, helpful and efficient. Less impressed with vehicle return experience - slow due to very low staffing levels.

Website is a bit busy - too many pop ups and distractions. Could be simpler.

Whole process exceeded my expectations, excellent, quick and easy to deal with.
