The service was excellent and the staff was patient. I opted for the basic insurance and there was no push to upgrade to full coverage. There was hardly any queue, only one person ahead of me, and the paperwork was processed quickly. A great experience.
Arrived in Kaiserslautern on the second day, and the weather forecast predicted snow. The staff promptly reminded us to add snow tires, which cost €5 per day.
Overall, the car was in good condition and fairly fuel-efficient. Picking up and returning the car was relatively easy, although the procedures for vehicle pickup were not completed in advance, and the extra amount of gasoline added when returning the car was not refunded.
