The overall process was very convenient, and returning the car was also hassle-free. However, the rental company I chose this time had one major drawback: when picking up the car, they charged a deposit on my credit card but did not process the release upon return. Instead, I had to wait 30 days for the amount to unfreeze automatically. If they had processed the release at the time of return, the refund would have been faster.

The overall car rental experience was okay, but the pickup process was a bit slow. The vehicle's condition was average, and the maximum speed seemed to be capped at 120 km/h, as the display showed warnings for higher speeds.

We arrived at Dubai airport in the middle of the night, and the car rental pickup spot was easy to find. Everything went smoothly until it was time to sign and pick up the car. The counter staff insisted that I hadn't purchased full insurance and demanded a payment of 1000 AED on the spot. I showed them my car rental agreement and the English translation of the full insurance coverage, but they still didn't accept it. They wouldn't let us pick up the car without paying. As it was late and I had my children with me, I didn't want to argue. Finally, we agreed to pay the 1000 AED to pick up the car, with the understanding that they would contact their customer service to confirm the insurance and refund the 1000 AED if it was indeed purchased. However, no one has contacted me for the refund yet.

It took two hours to pick up the car and they messed up the paperwork...
