Have rented cars many times before and generally experience goes smoothly and hassle free

I rented a car in March this year, and I actually forgot to leave a review... It wasn't until I planned another trip to New Zealand that I remembered. The service from EasiRent was very satisfactory, with affordable prices and excellent service. The staff were polite and responsible.

Hardly any queue, and the wait time for picking up was short

I called 7 times before someone answered to come and pick me up.

The counter staff were helpful however the car was old and had in excess of 100,000 km on the clock when I picked it up. Although it ran well I was concerned that I may have had broken down. The interior of the car was well worn with stained upholstery.

The car was well scratched and dented. The front passenger seat did not slide far enough back - only halfway. All documentation (handbook, warning notices etc) written in Japanese, not English. Proprietor not interested in our comments on return of the vehicle.
