Very satisfied with Hertz's efficient service; the car pick-up process was quick and the return confirmation was fast.

Simple procedures, enthusiastic service.

The service was very poor, with a lot of upselling for upgrades and extra insurance (even though I stated I had already purchased full coverage, the female Chinese receptionist continued to push insurance). Overall, I will not rent from Hertz again.

The waiting time was too long, taking up to an hour in line. When finally attended to, the staff was very unprofessional, taking half an hour to complete the process. They also changed my originally reserved Highlander (classified as a Large SUV by the rental company) to a Chevrolet Equinox, which is at least one size category smaller. After negotiating with another staff member, they finally switched it to a Nissan Pathfinder, but I had to wait another half hour to get the car. From standing in line to getting the car, it took over two hours and multiple negotiations. The experience was very poor. However, the car was in good condition, having been driven only 10,000 kilometers when I picked it up.
