The Portland pickup location is in the Pearl District, very close to Union Station. The process was simple, and the staff was friendly and chatty. He also responsibly asked about the number of luggage items to ensure the trunk was big enough. When the vehicle had a flat tire in Seattle and needed to be exchanged, the airport staff were very welcoming. They upgraded us to a Toyota 4Runner and repeatedly assured us it was a good car. Indeed, the car performed very reliably during the drive to Vancouver.

I wanted to keep the car longer and extend the rental time. I told Avis rep this when I came to pick up the car. Avis didn't honor the rate I'd already paid. Likewise, they wouldn't cancel by Qeeq booking and create a whole new one. This left me feeling like they jerked me around on the price.

I'm new to this site, but was overall happy with the process.

I did wait in an endless line (at least 4 times as long as any on the other agencies counters), but I've got a higher category car than I booked (for the same price), and they honored my request to provide a car which had a recent oil change, because I was up for a long drive.

Everything was fine.

Fantastic

Overall service was great. Booked a Mazda 3 but was directed to Hertz to pick up the car. Mazda 3 was unavailable, so I was given a Nissan, which couldn't connect to mobile navigation. In the end, paid an extra $255 for 12 days to upgrade to a Chevrolet Equinox. The car was brand new, but it felt too big for me.

The waiting time in line was way too long, nearly an hour. Other rental companies had almost no queue, but Avis had an extremely long line.

I was double billed (prepaid with QEEQ but billed again incorrectly by thrifty). Will now have to go through a process to have that charge reversed, which will take time I would Prefer not to spend doing on my vacation.

Booking platform is fine, but booking confirmations aren’t as convenient as they could be. Don’t show company you have booked with clearly or reservation # with car rental Agency. This should Be improved.
