Without the Green Card, I had to purchase separate insurance to enter Macedonia, which cost 50 euros for three days. I wouldn’t recommend picking up a car at the airport branch.

I told him I didn’t purchase that insurance. In summary, never rent a car from foreign staff. It’s much better to rent from local Chinese providers.

On June 10th, I received an email from the rental company claiming that the Audi Q7 had two scratched rims and was missing two tires, and they wanted to charge me over 1300 euros plus 20% tax. This is completely false. During my entire rental period, I did not encounter any accidents, and I parked the vehicle daily in dedicated garages and parking lots. I returned the car in perfect condition at Skopje Airport in North Macedonia, and there was absolutely no damage to the rims or missing tires.

Here's what happened: the primary driver forgot to bring their credit card, and the company would not let us pick up the car. We proposed two solutions: 1. Use cash for the deposit or have a traveling companion's credit card pay the deposit; 2. Replace the primary driver on the booking with a traveling companion or rebook under their name. Both were rejected. The only condition given by the company staff was to pay an additional €650 for full insurance; otherwise, we would not be allowed to pick up the car and the already paid rental fee would not be refunded. Ultimately, after some bargaining, they allowed us to pick up the car after we paid €620. Additionally, I want to inform everyone that the car's exterior condition was quite poor, with over a dozen noticeable scratches and dents. Since I opted for full insurance, I didn't bother negotiating further. Overall, this car rental experience was very unpleasant. Please take this into consideration.

Luckily, after comparing rental platforms, I firmly opted for Zuzuche, which provided quick and effective assistance throughout the process.

Take note of the operating hours in Serbia; it's best to pick up or return the car between 9 AM and 2 PM. Otherwise, they may consider it outside working hours and charge additional fees! You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental. Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results. However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available. Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with. If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind: 1. You may have to pay more. There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter. 2.It may not be allowed. Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country. Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ. Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip.
