Q1.What is an insurance excess?
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

The car rental office was empty when we arrived for our early morning flight. We had to wait an hour for someone to show up at the pickup location. The reserved car model was not available, and the so-called 'upgrade' had a smaller trunk, making loading luggage feel like a Lego puzzle each time. The service attitude was excellent, and we purchased full insurance and cross-border fees on-site. However, these costs were deducted directly from the pre-authorization, with an additional unexpected charge of a few dozen euros. Overall, apart from the lack of punctuality and slow car pickup process, there weren’t any major issues.

When picking up the car, a queue number was required followed by waiting in line. The staff's service attitude was decent, but they added insurance costs secretly without asking if it was needed. It amounted to an astonishing 2400 CNY, which was higher than the entire rental cost. They refused to issue a refund, claiming the customer had already signed the agreement. Therefore, avoid booking with this company. Seriously, do not book with this company. Additionally, if you read the contract carefully on the spot and refuse to purchase their insurance, I suspect they might find a tiny scratch upon car return and charge exorbitant repair fees. So, although their rental rates may seem low, the total cost for consumers ends up being much higher than other companies.

The car provided was not the model I reserved. The drop-off location was hard to find, the address was unclear, and navigation struggled to locate it. There were no signs, and the drop-off address lacked clarity. It should specify which parking lot, such as P1 or P6, rather than just giving an address. I spent a long time searching and still couldn't find it. The phone went unanswered, and the service was very disappointing!

I rented a car for a day to visit the lavender fields in Provence. The staff at the store provided us with a mini, which was suitable for two people, and the driving experience was quite enjoyable. The weather that day wasn't great—it was hot and sunny, and it rained heavily in the afternoon. The car almost got stuck in the mud, but the locals were very enthusiastic and helped guide us to get it out. Overall, the rental and driving experience was excellent!

Shouqi does not have its own service, it is all handled by Europcar as an agent. Overall, the service level is average, but their marketing is quite aggressive. The car condition is mediocre, with mileage exceeding 90,000 kilometers. The tires had a slow leak, but fortunately, I managed to use the air pump at the gas station later. Personally, I feel Shouqi can be considered as Europcar's secondary brand, and I wonder how long it will survive.

The system was down when picking up the car, and I had to wait for two and a half hours to get it. I was completely worn out from waiting. I booked a fuel car, but without informing me in advance, they forced a fully electric car on me and refused to change it for various reasons. Do you have any idea how inconvenient it is to drive an electric car in Europe? A trip that takes 4 hours with a fuel car requires 6 hours with an electric car because you have to recharge every 150-200 kilometers, and charging in Europe is also not very convenient.

It was also France's National Day, and the store closed early, resulting in an additional 50 euros in parking fees for an extra night. L'heure d'arrivée due au retard accumulé sur le dernier vol en provenance de Paris a dépassé l'heure de fermeture du guichet qui est 23h30. Le personnel du guichet que j'ai informé du retard m'a alors confimé qu'il attendrait bien notre arrivée. Nous étions plusieurs concernés. Effectivement, à l'arrivée, malgré l'heure tardive j'ai bien pu récupérer le véhicule. Avec meme un surclassement. Le tout avec le sourire.

Overall experience was average. The waiting time was extremely long, and the efficiency of the staff, especially for foreigners, left much to be desired. Additionally, I had booked an SUV, but they gave me a Skoda sedan instead. When I hit the highway, I realized the fuel tank was only half full, even though their policy was to return the car with a full tank. It seems like their pre-rental inspections are very disorganized. I decided not to go back to confirm because their efficiency was just too low. Renting and returning cars abroad often feels very frustrating. Everyone should be prepared to accept this.
