They had the car delivered straight to the pier for us, but the driver was quite late. After we got off the ship we wandered around the pier for a long time and still couldn’t find him. In the end, a very kind driver from another rental company helped us call their office, tracked down the delivery driver and told us he was still on the way. We ended up waiting quite a while before the car finally showed up. The driver himself was decent overall and gave us a clear walkthrough of the car before leaving.
When returning the car, because we had scraped a bus earlier, they asked me to pay 27,000 rupees and promised to send me the repair invoice the next afternoon. I still haven’t received anything yet. (I was following your customer service’s advice to pay first, then get the repair bill from them and claim it back afterwards.)
The car itself was in good condition, fairly spacious, and the trunk was big enough for four suitcases (two 24-inch, one 22-inch, and one 20-inch).
