When the car rental company asks if you're going to other countries, make sure not to tell them you are. I knew about this but forgot and ended up paying nearly 300 RMB in highway tolls.

One thing that we have noticed after 10 kilometers drive from the pick up location, that the gas tank was not full, only 75%. When we have returned the car with a full tank we have reported that and got some cash refund.

The car need better cleaning. Inside was very dirty and there was some paint all over the seats.

I had insurance still they insisted on buying insurance at the desk, which was expensive. They said the insurance which I have got from easyrentcars.com is not easy to claim in case of any issue.

Terms and conditions of insurance should be more clear.
