Pickup was convenient, got a free upgrade to a Renault Flu. Lost the car keys in Antalya, but got the car towed to a locksmith company and had the entire locking system replaced. Fortunately, I bought full insurance coverage before the trip, so all the costs were covered.
The Chevrolet car we rented was leaking oil. We were told we could only exchange it at the nearest Thrifty location, with no additional compensation. It caused delays and inconveniences.
Thrifty is pretty good, but they do push upgrades at the counter. I upgraded from a Ford Fusion to an SUV RAV4 for an additional $10 per day, which added up to over $170 with taxes for 14 days. The return process was straightforward; the inspector gave the car a quick look over and it was okay. The car was in great condition, with only 27,000 miles when I picked it up. The RAV4 was very reliable.
Very fast and convenient. I'll continue to use them in the future.
