Very pleased

The overall process was very smooth.

Quite pushy with the sell up insurance and clearly weren't happy with me refusing it. I had to point out quite a few damages that weren't on the original damage report. Two days after dropping the car back off they rang me to ask why I hadn't dropped it off yet, I told them when/where I dropped it off, they have emailed me with the end of hire report so guessing it was just an error but they haven't rang back to explain or apologise.

No complaints here, everything went smoothly.

Although I had documents saying amount due at airport as 0 I still had to pay a fuel surcharge of €24 (or they refused to give me the car) plus the incessant pressure sales techniques from Goldcar to take their insurance. Booked a Ford Focus got a Seat Leon which was smaller than anticipated

Booking was easy and the automated price drop re book is fantastic

Trying to scare us into buying additional insurance and upgrading the car. They said the insurance we had payed for with easyrent was no good and they would take the money if there was an incident and we wouldn’t get it back with our policy. Expensive fuel service charge for having fuel in the tank which was not mentioned or justified as well as airport tax.

The service was very good, but I'd purchased the car with reduced excess through easyrenters.com and when I arrived at the office, goldcar attempted to sell me the same excess despite that being obvious through the booking. Also, slow to return the deposit.
