As long as your Chinese credit card is a chip card and not UnionPay-only, you’re good to go. The numbers or your name don’t need to be embossed on the card for it to work.

The staff were really friendly and the paperwork was fast and easy. The only downside was the car wasn’t the model I originally booked. I reserved a Mazda 3, but they said they don’t have that model at all, and I ended up with a Toyota ETIOS, which I’d never even heard of. The car’s condition was just okay. Also, the actual provider is Eurocar, so don’t be confused when you’re looking for them.

The staff at the rental company was very nice. He waited for me until 10 PM because my flight was delayed.
