Pick-up Instructions

The Alamo - Copenhagen Airport car rental location is in terminal

When arriving, exit the arrivals hall and follow the airport signs for shuttle bus and take the shuttle bus assigned to Car Rental Centre. The shuttle bus stop by Terminal 3 is located at Ellehammersvej 20, just outside Clarion Hotel, the shuttle bus stop by Terminal 2 is located just outside the terminal entrance.

Drop-off Instructions

Search Alamo - return park for rent-a-car Copenhagen Airport for the return parking. Please return your car to the airport rental center and take the shuttle bus to the terminal. For after hours pick-ups or drop-offs, please contact the branch in advance.

Young Driver Fee applies at 19 - 24 years old with charge of DKK 125 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation. You must present your original driving licence together with the original IDP at the counter — photocopies or scanned copies are not accepted.

EU/EEA Driving License

EU/EEA driving licenses are valid for car rental across the EU/EEA, as well as in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Original Japanese Driving Licence + Dealer translation

Original Driving Licence in Denmark are not allowed for rentals in Denmark

Reservations on non-Danish sites via a Danish IP are invalid for Danish residents registered in the Folkeregister.Residents (any nationality) with a permanent Danish address,or having stayed over 180 days in Denmark in the past year, should use other ones

The pick-up and drop-off processes were very quick. The store added an extra 2150 yuan fee, which included an additional driver for 500 yuan, driver insurance for 450 yuan, and fees for exiting Denmark costing 300 yuan, along with a bridge toll of 900 yuan. Additionally, there was a 5050 yuan deposit, totaling 7200 yuan. Upon returning the car, they charged a 3000 yuan damage fee because the car's underbody protection rubber was scraped off by sharp metal in the parking lot. We needed roadside assistance from the insurance, and the rescue personnel ensured the car was safe to drive before making minor repairs on-site, allowing us to continue our trip without further issues. We appreciate this very much.
