You can arrive of Elite Rent A Car - Elite Rent A Car car rental by free shuttle bus.

One of our Airport Representatives will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall at the meeting area near Exit Gate S1. They will be holding a sign displaying your name and our company logo. You will then be escorted to our rental station via a complimentary shuttle service

Drop-off Instructions

The customer needs to return the car to our station for a detailed inspection. Following that, they will be taken to the airport by our free shuttle service.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original Driver License + Temporary Sri Lankan Driving Licence

To obtain a temporary Sri Lankan driving license, you are required to bring your original driving license, an International Driving Permit (IDP), your passport, and a clear passport-sized photo of yourself to DMT (Department of Motor Traffic). The cost is about 50 EUR and it's subject to the local charge standard.(Please note this process will take a couple of hours and the DMT office is open only on Mon - Fri from 8.30 am till 3.30 pm.)
