You can arrive of Avis - O Hare International Airport car rental by free shuttle bus.

The rental offices are located at the Multi-Modal Facility (MMF) in the airport. After collecting your luggage, please follow the Airport Transit signs and take the train to the MMF station. Once you exit, follow the logos on the signs to reach the rental counter. Please note that car return also at this Facility.

Drop-off Instructions

Please return your vehicle to the Multi-Modal Facility (MMF) at the airport. Follow the "Car Rental Return" signs along the way. The overall service was very satisfactory, though there was a minor issue. The car pickup was at the rental building near ORD MMF. An AVIS staff member wearing red glasses assisted me, but the charged amount was higher than what I initially booked, and I wasn’t informed about it. I double-checked the amount later and found the discrepancy. Fortunately, I raised the issue immediately, and they corrected it. However, you should be careful, as the difference was about $300, which is quite significant.

Avis has more service counters than most of the other companies, so the lines for picking up cars are usually shorter. Overall their cars are in better condition than the competition, and the staff tend to be more experienced, so the whole process is quick and straightforward.
