Q1.What is an insurance excess？
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

Overall review: Simply amazing! Convenient, hassle-free, safe, and reassuring! Before going abroad, I read various posts about 'things to avoid' and 'common pitfalls,' which made me quite nervous, worrying about potential problems—after all, losses of several thousand euros are not a small deal. To my surprise, everything went smoothly. The staff handling pick-up and drop-off were excellent, and the process was quick. I returned the car locally on the evening of July 31, and the pre-authorization deposit was refunded by 1 AM domestic time. The refund was so prompt that I only noticed it days later when checking my account. Honestly, before the deposit was refunded, I was still concerned about the 'issues car rental companies might bring up' mentioned by others, but when the full deposit was returned, I finally breathed a sigh of relief. With that, my European trip concluded perfectly!

I chose Schiller for the first time, likely because Hungary is close to Bosnia, ensuring smooth entry into Bosnia. The airport pickup counter staff was professional, refused to use any translation tool (which isn’t allowed), and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. The parking team for car returns was also skilled, polite, and even helped retrieve a forgotten portable speaker left in the car.

The staff member's attitude was excellent. Although there were some minor communication difficulties, he was patient and tried his best to express himself. Since we upgraded to full insurance at the counter, the return process was extremely smooth. After the two staff members carefully inspected the car, the deposit was unfrozen on the same day. By the second day, the deposit had been successfully returned to my card. The car we received on-site was a Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8L, and it was almost brand new.

The staff was very patient, asking which countries we planned to visit, explaining how to purchase highway tickets and how to access parking lots. There was no pressure to buy insurance, and they clarified it wasn't necessary. We got a brand-new hybrid car with only 77 kilometers on the odometer and drove it across Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria using a Hong Kong driver’s license to complete the rental paperwork. We covered a total of 3,153 kilometers with an average fuel consumption of 4.8 liters per 100 kilometers. At the counter, €1,500 (€1,300 deposit + €200) was frozen on the card, and we paid €91 for the cross-border fee and Hungarian highway toll. The car return process was very straightforward; the staff checked the dashboard, inspected the car from all sides, opened all five doors for a quick check, and then had me sign off. Shortly after, I received the notification that the €1,300 deposit was released. The station wagon's trunk was very practical—it accommodated three 24-inch suitcases with room to close the lid, and for our trip, we packed two 24-inch suitcases, one 20-inch suitcase, and still had space for a backpack. The only downside was that the hybrid car had sluggish acceleration, lacked power for overtaking, and generated significant noise.
