Service was excellent. The staff suggested a CA$50 prepay fuel option so I didn’t need to return the car with a full tank. Basically you pay 50 upfront and just try to use up as much gas as you can before returning it. I didn’t get it at first and the clerk explained it twice, but it turned out to be super convenient, especially since gas stations aren’t usually right next to the airport.

As soon as I handed over my reservation, the guy (with a strong South Asian accent) told me there were no Camrys left and he’d have to give us a similar car. Since Banff is a mountain area, we asked if there were other options, and my wife picked a reliable German-made VW SUV with 4WD. It cost us over 300 CAD extra, but the car condition, driving experience, passenger comfort, and space were all excellent. I’d recommend adding GPS navigation to the rental!

Pickup was straightforward and hassle-free, with no pushy upselling on extra services.

They do try to upsell you a bit—suggesting a bigger car, pricier insurance, prepaying fuel and so on—but they’re not pushy about it. Just say no to everything if you’re not interested and it’s fine.

This rental was perfect, seriously have to give Alamo a shout-out. I originally booked an F-150, but they gave me a 2026 Silverado 1500 instead, and the best part was it was basically brand new – only 38 km on the clock, registered 2026-02-10, and I picked it up on the 14th. We happened to hit a big snowstorm in Ontario and I had a ton of luggage to haul, and the truck handled everything flawlessly. Great car, great rental company. Highly recommend – the Hyundai I rented from them last time was also a brand-new vehicle.

Got a free upgrade to a brand-new Nissan Rogue, less than a year old. The car was in great condition, quick acceleration, fuel-efficient, and felt super reliable to drive. The rental counter was conveniently located right after exiting the airport, and just 50 meters to the right of the terminal is the designated parking area for all rental companies. Returning the car was just as easy—park it back at the same spot.

The Indian guy was super friendly and polite, even helped carry my suitcase.

The value for money is highly competitive, and the process of picking up and dropping off the car is super convenient. The best part is that it's inside the airport, so no need to drag heavy luggage around! Highly recommend!

Great service and friendly attitude, minimal wait time, and returning the car was hassle-free. The only downside is that the price is a bit high.

The car pickup location is in the city center, with the store situated on the street level. Pickup is on the fourth basement floor, and drop-off is on the third basement floor, with clear signs that make it easy to locate. I did a self-service drop-off at night, placed the car keys in the designated box, and took photos and videos for record-keeping. The car pickup process was very convenient, and no insurance upselling occurred. The vehicle was nearly new, having been driven for over 16,000 kilometers. It was equipped with full-time four-wheel drive, though the fuel consumption was a bit high. Fortunately, gas prices in Canada are cheaper than in China, with the cheapest fuel found in Toronto and the most expensive in Quebec. Additionally, nighttime fuel discounts are available. The road conditions throughout were excellent, making it a good choice for first-time self-driving trips abroad.

This car rental experience was the best I've ever had. Picking up the car was very convenient, and the company upgraded my rental to a Ford ESCAPE, which is a hybrid vehicle. The car was very new, extremely fuel-efficient, and a pleasure to drive. Returning the car was also very easy. I had rented the car for ten days but returned it a day earlier for other reasons. I had expected to be charged for all ten days, but to my surprise, I was only charged for nine days. What a delightful surprise!
