After exiting Santorini Airport, follow the path up to the second floor. They told me there was only one automatic car left, an old one. Because there are many steep roads in Santorini, I recommend renting a car.

Flight was an hour late so no one waiting to pick us up, had to phone them but came promptly. Car was cheaper than other companies and the reason was it was older than others had a few scratches etc but drove ok and worried less about it. Staff were very friendly and helpful and their English was very good. Didn’t try and pressure sell any extra insurance or anything, would recommend as long as you don’t want anything new and shiny.

No Budget sign at the booth. In fact it was running by Avis. No one at the counter have to wait for sometime. Asking too many documents which I have never experienced. Once bought extra insurance things turned around. He became very nice. Blood face all he wanted was extra money.

Overall, it was okay. The staff were very friendly but extremely meticulous during the inspection! They paid close attention even to the tiniest scratches. They kept promoting their insurance. The car was quite old and didn't have Bluetooth, so I used my own speaker to play music throughout the trip. Given the low price, it's a reasonable option for those looking for affordability. Taking photos and videos during pickup is highly recommended, and the staff there also suggested doing so because they are very thorough during the inspection. For example, they spent a lot of time and recorded even a scratch smaller than half the size of a pinky fingernail. I was worried that they would be equally strict during drop-off. Luckily, I drove very carefully and avoided any scratches or collisions. However, there were indeed many gravel roads, so extra caution is necessary.

Rented during the off-season, no waiting required, completed the formalities and picked up the car immediately. The car was not the model I reserved and was slightly smaller than expected. Foi uma péssima experiência com o serviço. No processo de locação estava disponível horário de reserva às 7 horas e que deveríamos ligar no telefone fornecido para o encontro com a operador. Nada funcionou, estava tudo fechado e o telefone fornecido não recebia ligações. Ficamos 1 hora esperando no aeroporto sem qualquer contato e depois de muitas pesquisas na internet encontramos o endereço da Surface, que só operava à partir das 8h. Perdemos mais de 1 hora e chegamos a acreditar que havia fraude no serviço pois ninguém respondia chat e nem havia qualquer telefone para contato. Nem da surface nem da QeeQ.

On arrival at the airport I had to ask another desk where ABBYCAR was situated and there was no desk as described online. On leaving the terminal a very nice agent had a sign with our name on and we were taken to the office 5 minutes away . The man was very kind and professional and on arrival down an unlit dirt track joked that he wasn’t going to kidnap us ..... The office and pick up was quick and easy however the car he collected us in he handed over to us and we were shocked

The car was much bigger and older than the one we booked at the reservtion so we were not able to park properly to the hotel´s parkway. We kindly asked to change the car to the company the next day but the representative refused to give us another car arguing they did not have any. He did not give us a solution. We had an early morning flight and the staff managed to meet us at the airport promptly, although there was an extra charge for services outside regular hours. Terrible experience at picking up the car here. Just because I didn’t want to purchase their own insurance (because I had an insurance with a third company), they treated me in very rude manner. The guy seemed offended and started telling me that I was the only one doing such a thing and when I ask you to give me a piece of paper where he wrote all the conditions of the deposit I was paying he throw it to the bin in such a theatrical way saying that that paper was his (he should have studied drama instead of being a mediocre rental car assistance). Then he made me sign the contract when it said that the card did not have any scratches when I have not had seen the car and I politely asked to see the car first. He shouted at me saying that that was normal procedure. When I arrive to the car there were scratches so I had to make them come to the car and amend the contract by hand.

There is no office at Santorini Airport. At the agreed time, a staff member will come to you with the car. The guy who assisted was very friendly and explained everything clearly. When returning the car, you might sometimes leave it directly at the airport parking lot without locking it or meeting anyone. Although this feels a bit unsettling, it seems to be fine.
