Everything went smoothly overall. The only slight downside was that the check-in process was a bit slow because we had to enter all our info on the spot (they did send a link beforehand so you can fill it out in advance, but we were on the plane and didn’t see it). No one tried to upsell extra services, there were no extra cross-border fees, and they even asked if we needed help buying highway passes for other countries. Drop-off was quick and easy too, done in about 5 minutes, and the deposit was refunded pretty fast.
The car I received was a bit old, with 160,000 kilometers on it. It didn’t have a screen, CarPlay, or a rearview camera. Luckily, I purchased full insurance, so reversing was a matter of luck.
