Even though we said we purchased insurance through the rental company, they still insisted on charging our card. When we asked what amount was being charged, they wouldn't answer and just told us to press enter. We kept saying we didn't need it because we had completed everything through the rental site, but they insisted the transaction was already completed. Although they eventually tore up the signature slip, we're not sure if the charge was actually reversed.
We did not get a Sharan, instead we got a supposedly similar class car with a much smaller trunk space. It was clearly not as big as the Sharan, but they said it was the only option. To get a larger car, we would need to pay extra.
The service was acceptable! Didn't encounter any problems! However, when we asked about fines, they said it couldn't be resolved immediately and we would have to wait for deductions later. Not sure if there will be any late fees!
Like: We did not like the power of the first car so we upgraded and it worked wonderfully. Had the car for over three weeks. Dislike: no porblems
