It was okay. The staff at the front desk spoke quickly and asked about various additional insurance options, but were not very friendly. The shuttle bus drivers were all very nice. The car was not good—poor quality and not cost-effective. It is not suitable for driving uphill or downhill, but Christchurch and Queenstown are full of slopes.
