There was a scratch under the rear glass that wasn't caused by us. They insisted it was our fault and demanded 200 euros for compensation. The parking lot was too dimly lit at the time, and it was impossible to have scratched that spot.

Fantastic experience! I was given an upgrade to a brand-new Audi A4 upon arrival. The car was equipped with the latest features, and my 10-day rental was excellent.

As a customer for over ten years, this has been the most disappointing experience. The car model was incorrect, the return location was completely wrong, and the rental company showed no intention to assist with submitting traffic clearance paperwork during the return.

The car rental service was overall excellent with a good attitude.

Avoid this Autovia car rental company. 1. Waited for over an hour. 2. They aggressively pushed their insurance and claimed other policies were not accepted there. If you don’t buy their insurance, even a single scratch costs 350 euros. 3. Booked an Audi A3-level car but was given a Kia. 4. Staff told us it was a petrol car and must use 95-octane fuel, but it was actually a diesel vehicle. Thankfully, the gas station staff noticed and warned us.

Following the instructions given by Zuzuche for car pickup at Milan Airport was extremely frustrating. In the midst of a violent storm, there was no shuttle to pick us up. Multiple calls to the rental company went unanswered, or they promised a shuttle would arrive in ten minutes but kept us waiting for several ten-minute intervals. There were many shared shuttles to the area, but some drivers refused to take us, some were fully booked, and most ignored us after seeing the address on our rental slip. Couldn't get a rideshare, and taxis refused to go (perhaps it was too close). Bought full insurance through Zuzuche, but the counter did not recognize it (claims had to be made through Zuzuche). Because claim responsibility lay with Zuzuche, the rental company offered no help for roadside issues. Zuzuche was powerless, providing only an international road assistance number. After over ten years of renting cars abroad through Zuzuche, this trip made me realize many issues I had luckily avoided before. Future lesson: rent from an international company rather than a local one, and buy insurance from the rental company, not the platform.

We couldn't book a ride-share service, and taxis refused to go there (maybe because it was too close). We had purchased full insurance through the rental platform, but the rental desk wouldn't acknowledge it (claims had to be filed with the platform). Because the platform was responsible for claims, road assistance from the rental company was non-existent. The rental platform was essentially helpless, providing only an international road assistance number. Over ten years of using this rental platform for overseas trips, we lucked out by not encountering these issues previously. The major lesson here: rent from a major international company, not a local one, and buy insurance directly from the rental company, not the platform.

Rented a POLO, but got a similar model from another European brand. The trunk can hold three suitcases. It's a compact SUV, comfortable enough for four people.

I think this car rental company is excellent. The car was very comfortable to drive. The staff were friendly and provided thorough service. The paperwork was handled quickly and conveniently. The price was reasonable with no hidden fees. Overall, the experience was very pleasant and I will choose this company again in the future.

Although this might seem like an upgrade, I was not happy. I mainly drove in the Dolomites, where narrow, winding roads make a smaller car preferable. The bigger car just made driving more cumbersome.

I was also dissatisfied with them not marking existing damages on the car, although the rest of the service was acceptable.

Although it seemed like an upgrade on the surface, I wasn't happy. I mainly rented the car for driving in the Dolomites, where smaller cars are better suited for narrow and winding roads. A larger car only made my driving more difficult.

Very satisfied. They don't forcefully upsell additional services and provide friendly reminders and introductions, which we should understand and respect as part of their job. We received a vehicle of the same class, showing nearly 100,000 kilometers, with an old interior, but the driving performance was quite good except for insufficient power on slopes. We chose to return the car at Florence Airport, and objectively speaking, the service there was better — the staff were sincere and enthusiastic. Of course, all good and bad experiences are mutual, and I believe they also felt the same sincerity and enthusiasm from us.
