The Europcar - New Chitose Airport car rental location is in terminal

You can walk to the counter of Europcar - New Chitose Airport car rental.

The service is provided by Europcar's partner, Times. After completing the paperwork at the car rental counter on the first floor of the domestic terminal, we will offer a shuttle service to the store, which takes approximately 15 minutes. Please note that during peak travel seasons and major holidays, the airport, the store, and surrounding roads may be heavily congested, potentially requiring more time than usual.

Drop-off Instructions

Please return the vehicle to the store 90 minutes before your flight (120 minutes during major holidays). We offer a shuttle service back to the airport, with a travel time of approximately 15 minutes. Please be aware that during peak travel seasons and major holidays, the airport, the store, and surrounding roads may be heavily congested. Ensure you allow sufficient time for the return process.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + IDP( issued under the 1949 Convention)

It is required to carry the original IDP issued by a government-authorized agency in the version of the 1949 convention, in the A6-sized booklet format, and the number of seats of the rented vehicle should comply with the driving category authorized by the IDP.
