Directions to Auckland City Location Our Auckland City branch is conveniently located on Beach Road in the heart of downtown Auckland. We are just a short walk from both The Strand and Waitematā stations, or opposite a handy bus stop. From Auckland Strand Station: We are only a 9-minute walk from Auckland Strand Station. Exit the station onto The Strand and turn right, walk 450 meters to Parnell Rise. Within 90 meters, the road curves to the right and merges into Beach Road. You will see our Enterprise location on the left-hand side of the street at number 165. From Waitematā (Britomart) Train Station: At just a 14-minute walk from Waitematā Station, our Auckland City branch is ideal for anyone who has just arrived in the city. Exit Waitematā Station on Galway Street and turn left. Walk 470 meters and turn right on Britomart Street, then immediately left on Beach Road. Walk 700m and you will see our green Enterprise Rent-A-Car sign on the right-hand side of the street. Bus: Opposite our 165 Beach Road location is the Churchill Street bus stop. You can catch the handy InnerLink (INN) bus route, which is a circular line around Auckland’s City Centre. You can catch the INN bus route from locations such as Victoria Park Market, Waitematā (Britomart) Train Station and Newmarket.

Towards any New Zealand islands, taking rental cars crossing islands is allowed with certain conditions.

Ferry crossings with the vehicle are permitted. Customers are required to inform the rental branch about any cross-border travel at least 3 days in advance. Unauthorized cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge. Parts of New Zealand are not suitable for access by rental vehicles. If the renter takes the Vehicle to any of the following areas, their Liability for any loss or damage may increase and any optional protection product se1ected such as Loss or Collision Damage Waiver will be voided: Ball Hutt Road (Mt Cook), Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Te Paki Stream Bed, the road to Macetown in the Queenstown Area, the coast road to Russell (Northland), or any unformed road, track, or thoroughfare, including beaches and gravel roads that are not officially designated a road.

Ferry Transportation: Allowed

Enterprise allows you to bring the rental vehicle on the ferry. However ferry companies may charge you to bring a vehicle across Cook Strait.

It's been half a month since I returned the car. There was a small scratch on the front bumper. Initially, they estimated the cost to be between 100 to 200 NZD and said it would be settled within 5 to 7 working days, after which the remaining deposit would be refunded. So far, I have no idea how much I have been charged, they haven't sent me an invoice, and my deposit of over 3000 NZD hasn't been returned!
