The IWS - Taoyuan Branch car rental location is located out of the airport

Please contact the staff to pick you up to IWS - Taoyuan Branch car rental when you arrived.

Upon arrival at the airport, please call the branch at +886-33862555. The staff will be dispatched to pick you up. As Taiwan's car rental policies can be complex, once your order is confirmed, the rental company will send you an email (iwsservice588@gmail.com) with important information and document requirements. Please return the car to the Taoyuan store. After completing the return procedure, you will be taken to the airport.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 2 year(s).

Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation. You must present your original driving licence together with the original IDP at the counter — photocopies or scanned copies are not accepted.

An English translation must be provided on the back of the driver's license.

Making the call was a bit confusing as we didn't know which no to skip. Only dial last 8 no. if using public phone. Waited ard 15 min for pick up due to traffic jam. Wait outside at no. 18 and look for staff wearing the IWS blue yellow T-shirt. Getting and returning car was very fast, car is new. Staff brought us back to airport with our hired car.

The car is very good. The check in service staff was helpful and able to provide with little details. The checking out staff is however less helpful and overcharged me for 2 minor issues. 1 is the a slight scratch at the bottom of the bumper and the 2nd is a dent near front passenger door caused by another car parked next to me and had already disappeared. He insisted that I caused the damage because i did not report to police which I do not know how since I did not even noticed the dent until much later. He charged me 4800NT for a damage that can probably be fixed with less than halft the cost and because I have to catch the flight back, I agree to settle so that we can move on. Anyway, I need QEEQ help to recover the ridiculous amount.

Rented a Honda Fit and car condition was excellent. Service is good. It's abit squeezy for 3 adults + 1 kid though. They even made a small booklet for 1st timer to explain the driving and parking rules in Taiwan (e.g never park along red line), to me, that was very very useful reference. Counter staff is also very helpful to go through once more about the rules in the booklet. Car return is also very efficiently done. The rental process is very pleasant!

It was a simple process to collect the car at taoyuan Taipei international airport. Just call the given number and a shuttle van picked us up and straight to the collection point which is near to the airport. Vice versa for car return. Car was new and in clean condition. During my trip to Taiwan, I was fortunate to experience an excellent car rental service. From the very beginning, the staff showed incredible enthusiasm and provided detailed introductions to the vehicle's various features and operations, filling me with expectations for the journey ahead. Their service was not only friendly but also very attentive. They specifically mentioned Taiwan's traffic conditions and important safety precautions, which made me feel well cared for. Regarding the vehicle, the car I rented was a model that was only one year old, and I was very satisfied with both its performance and appearance. During the short 8-day trip, I drove nearly 1,000 kilometers, and the fuel cost was only about 1,200 TWD, making it highly fuel-efficient. Overall, the condition of the car was excellent and added great joy to my journey. However, there was one drawback. When receiving the vehicle, I noticed one tire looked flat and informed the staff, but their response was that it was naturally like that. Later, the car's system indicated low tire pressure, so I contacted customer service. I went to a gas station to inflate the tire and had it checked at the rental company's service center, and thankfully, it turned out to be nothing serious. It did not significantly affect my trip. In summary, my car rental experience was very pleasant, and I was satisfied with both the service and the vehicle. For friends planning to travel to Taiwan, I highly recommend this car rental company. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.9 excellent rating)
