The MEX - San José Del Cabo Airport car rental location is in terminal

You can walk to the counter of MEX - San José Del Cabo Airport car rental.

After collecting your luggage, please proceed to the car rental area where you will find the Mex Rent-A-Car booth. An uniformed Mex Rent-A-Car agent will arrange the shuttle to pick you up and drive you to our main office to collect your vehicle. Mex Rent-A-Car shuttles are blue with the Mex Rent-A-Car logo. Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation. You must present your original driving licence together with the original IDP at the counter — photocopies or scanned copies are not accepted.

For local renters, you need to bring:

Car was beat up. When we arrived at Los Cabos car was not available for pick up. Over three hours late. Compromised our day given delays and availability issues. No discount given. Staff was nice but company should have done more to offset our losses and add costs.

When we got there they claimed our car was not available and we would have to pay an additional 10 dollars per day. There were plenty of cars on the lot they could have given us. They said we would not have to return the gas tank full. It was 3/4 full when we got the car. We did return it full anyway because we were suspicious they would charge us extra and didn't want to take the chance.
