Once you exit the airport, just call the branch and wait for the shuttle in the parking lot across the road. The car I got was a VW Taigo, basically brand new that year – really quick acceleration and very fuel‑efficient, around 6L per 100km.

After we switched to the local insurance, everything got way easier. We just paid a bit extra and didn’t have to worry about them checking every scratch when returning the car, and the deposit was refunded back to the card on the spot.

The staff were all very polite. Although they repeatedly emphasized that choosing not to buy their insurance would require a high deposit, they performed very detailed checks during pick-up and drop-off. It's recommended to consider purchasing the rental company's insurance, as local road conditions are not great and traffic congestion is severe.
