Oman

AED 550 per rental
1. An additional charge of AED 550 is required to obtain the Oman travel permit (NOC), which is valid for 7 days. 2. Local insurance must be purchased to drive within Oman and can be arranged on site at the border. 3. To ensure a smooth trip, please submit a copy of the passport information page and copies of both sides of your driving licence to the car rental company at least 2–3 working days in advance. 4. For safety reasons, electric vehicles are currently not allowed to enter Oman. 5. According to local insurance policy, only the main driver specified on the NOC is allowed to drive outside the country. 6. The border-crossing permit will be issued at the rental location, and the processing time is approximately 20–30 minutes.
