You can walk to the counter of Alamo - Amsterdam Schipol Airport car rental.

Renters who travel via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, please go to the Enterprise Rent a Car rental desk (also representing Alamo and National Car Rental) located at the Car Rental Centre (Schiphol Plaza). For assistance, please call 0031 20 740 1950. After-hours returns. Vehicles can be returned outside the opening hours of this hire location. When returning the rental car outside the opening hours of the rental location (address: Herbergierstraat 1118, 1118 CZ Schiphol) follow the road signs 'Car Rental Return' at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and please park the vehicle in any Enterprise/Alamo/National assigned parking space. Make sure that the vehicle is locked and ensure that you have gathered all of your personal belongings before leaving. Place the keys in the drop box located in the Arrivals Hall, on the left side of the Enterprise/Alamo/National counter. No additional charges apply for returns outside the opening hours. The renter's responsibility for the vehicle and hire charges ends once an employee inspects the vehicle on the next business day.

    The car seat we reserved for our 7mo, did not meet our expectations. The thin foam padding was scarce, and had holes in from wear an tear- so it looked worn out; the construction frame of it wasa thin plastic shell, (to be secured to the car by the seatbelt) however, the entire chair moved freely with one hand - so we were petrified for any sharp corners taken with baby inside/ let alone a collision. I understand that the staff won't fit the product for insurance reasons- however, this didn;t fill us with any confidence as they threw it on the ground at my feet and said "you must read the instructions on the sticker and fit" despite me never fitting this type before. The seat itself was really hard, and uncomfortable for my baby; which resulted in cutting our holiday in half- and not driving around Holland as planned, due to her crying after no more than 10mins. I will never reserve a car seat again due to this completely terrible experience. The car was fine.

    Car exceeded my expectations! Very clean and very low mileage. Less the 6 months old. I didn't like being charged extra for winter tyres. I had mentioned I was driving Luxembourg time I was paying for the car. Its beyond their control, just miscommunication. I will give them 9.75 out of 10

    In Europe, it's important to get used to their pace. Be patient, everyone is polite and courteous. Note that driving speeds in Europe are generally high, and being courteous alone won't ensure safety. Roadworks can make driving more difficult due to narrow lanes. It's really not advisable for inexperienced drivers to attempt self-driving; safety should always come first.
